Its the academy coaches who are BCCI or ICC or NIS certified who provide coaching to the players. Basic Terms: All applicable rules and regulations of the ground shall be bound on each and every player. Pathans Academy Ludhiana operates as per the set rules and guidelines. All pictures used in the website are just for illustration and doesn't bear any connection with any brand whatsoever, unless and until mentioned clearly. Academy Terms and Conditions:​

​

1. All kind of academy fees are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances

2. Our hostels are owned and run by third parties and the players have to directly pay their hostel fee to the hostel owner and as such any feedback or complaint regarding the hostel shall be addressed to hostel owner only

3. Indiscipline of any kind is strictly prohibited. Anyone found creating any nuisance or indiscipline will be temporarily or permanently dismissed from the academy. In such an instance, no fee refunds will be there.

4. As a special gesture to the outstation players, we allow holidays in our modules of four months and above. The holidays are allowed upto a maximum of 50% of the total module duration for example if a player has 4 months module he can take upto 2 months of holidays and the module can be extended to a maximum of 6 months. Written permission from coach or academy management is must to avail these holidays.

5. Players need to follow the instructions given by the coach at all times

It’s hereby informed to public at large that Pathaans Academy Ludhiana is being run by Sports World in association with senior coaches who are BCCI and NIS qualified. The academy has produced some of the finest players in last 5-6 years and many of the academy players have represented their districts and state already. Infact one of our player has represented India in (DeafDumb Cricket World Cup).

 

The academy has world-class coaching system with dedicated full-time coaches and all equipment as well as regular practice matches and tournaments. The academy was launched by Irfan Pathan in 2018 however coaching was never provided by Irfan and Yusuf Pathan or even the academy was never run by them. They never helped any of our player nor did they help us run the center in any way whatsoever.  Irfan and Yusuf Pathan just sold their name-franchisee for 5 years for which we invested almost 30Lacs INR.

 

However, after finding that Pathaan brothers do not come and coach and also do not help run the academy we and our players were disappointed. They just keep asking for money and royalties for using their name and hence after first few years, we have stopped using their name and changed our academy name to ‘Ludhiana Pathaan Cricket Academy’. However, there is absolutely no change in the training of the players. Previously also our 3 qualified coaches were training the players and now also the same coaches train the players.

 

So, nothing has changed. Just that we would not like to be associated with the names Irfan or Yusuf Pathan anymore after being cheated by them or their company.  We have already filed a case against Irfan and Yusuf Pathan and their management and the case is sub-judice. We urge budding players to not join the academy thinking that Pathaans brothers will coach you, rather It’s our dedicated full-time qualified BCCI/NIS level coaches who have been coaching players from last 6 years and in future also they will provide training.
